Passionate about human rights, Emma Conty devotes herself to protecting the most vulnerable while providing her expertise to international legal institutions.

To be the voice of those of the silenced.

Experience

Graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (common law and comparative law), a Master 1 in Business Law from the University of Aix-Marseille, a Master 1 in Criminal Law from the University of Paris V and an LLM Criminal Justice from Queen Mary University of London.

Emma CONTY is a qualifier lawyer since 2022 and has been registered with the Paris Bar since September 2023.

Experience

Since July 2024, she has worked as an independent lawyer, providing legal support to asylum seekers before the OFPRA and preparing hearings at the CNDA.

She is also a legal consultant at the International Criminal Court as part of a defense team.

Emma gained significant experience as a case manager for Felicien Kabuga's defence team at the United Nations Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals.

Her commitment to raising awareness of human rights violations led her to collaborate with the Refugee Camps Observatory.

Throughout her career, Emma has developed solid skills in international criminal law, humanitarian law and immigration law, reinforced by her diverse internships, notably within firms specializing in international criminal law and in the international relations departments of the Paris Bar.
